About Point Drive-in Theatre
THE POINT DRIVE-IN IS CLOSED FOR THE 2024 SEASON. The Point Drive-in is a two screen drive-in movie theater located in Northumberland, PA. In October, they have a small haunted house at the drive-in and show back to back horror movies. The Point Drive-in had expanded to three screens but in August of 2020, one of the drive-ins three screens was destroyed by a tornado and they have not replaced that screen making them a twin screen drive-in ever since. Currently, admission is $7 for adults and kids with kids 3 and under getting in for free. Movie audio is broadcast over FM Radio. The Point Drive-in does not currently have a website, so please check their Facebook page for a schedule of movies to be shown. On May 25, 2022, the Point Drive-in announced on its Facebook page that this would be their last summer and that the Point Drive-in would be closing permanently after July of this year. They remained opened until Sunday, August of 2022 and announced the end of the season. But in January of 2023, the owners of the Point Drive-in announced they would in fact open in 2023 and the drive-in is showing movies again.
