About Garden Drive-in
The Garden drive-in is a twin screen drive-in theater located in Hunlock Creek, PA which is in the northeastern part of the state. It opened way back in 1952 and has operated continuously since that time. Originally opened as a solo screen drive-in theater, the Garden Drive-in is now a 2 screen theater showing double features on each screen seasonally April thru October. Current admission is $7 for those three years of age and older with kids two and younger being free. The Garden Drive-in also has a flea market that runs every Sunday. Movie audio is broadcast over 90.3 and 89.7 FM. Outside food is allowed but discouraged as the Garden Drive-in has an excellent selection of food and snacks at their concession stand. Pets are allowed at the Garden Drive-in as long as they are leashed, well behaved and cleaned up after. In July of 2011, a flood destroyed a screen, the concession building and the projection booth at the Garden Drive-in and it was uncertain if the drive-in would ever re-open. However, they did rebuild and began showing movies again and in July of 2022, the Garden Drive-in celebrated their 70th year in operation.
