About Greene County Drive-in
Until its closure in 1999, the Linton Greene County Drive-in was the oldest operating drive-in in Indiana. Though closed in 1999, as late as 2013 its old screen was still standing. What made this drive-in very unique was that in its early years of operation, instead of using the standard window speakers that almost all other drive-ins used, the Green Drive-in used two huge speakers on both sides of its screen to blast the sound out to the cars.
