About Tibbs Drive-in
The Tibbs Drive-in Theatre is a four screen drive-in movie theater located in Indianapolis, Indiana. The Tibbs Drive-in is the last drive-in theater in the Indianapolis area of which there were 18 operating drive-ins at one time. It was originally opened as a single screen drive-in in 1967 with a second and third screen added in 1972 and a fourth screen added in 1994. And then as recently as 2012 the owners made additional improvements. The drive-in converted to digital projection in 2016. They are open seasonally from March thru October and show double features on each screen. Movie audio is broadcast of different FM channels.
