About Brownsville Drive-in

The Brownsville Drive-in is a three screen drive-in theater located in Grindstone, PA which is about an hour south of Pittsburgh, PA. The Brownsville Drive-in was originally opened as a single drive-in screen theater way back in 1949. They added a second screen in the 1990's and a third in the 2000's. They are open seasonally and show double features on their three screens April thru October. The Brownsville Drive-in is located on "The Heritage Route" which is Historic Route 40 in Grindstone, PA. It is about a one hour drive south of Pittsburgh, PA. Currently, admission prices are $9 for adults and $3 for kids. The Brownsville Drive-in only accepts cash. As for July 2021, the Brownsville Drive-in is for sale. The owner is in his 70's and has been in involved in the drive-in for decades and says it is time to retire. He hopes to find a buyer that will continue to operate the drive-in.
