About Grand River Drive-in
The Grand River Drive-in is a 4 screen drive-in movie theater that originally opened in 2016. When opened, the Grand River Drive-in was originally named the The Coyote Drive-in and was one of 4 Coyote Drive-ins operated in the South. But in September of 2018, the Coyote Drive-in closed and its future was uncertain. There were rumors that the drive-in was closed for good and that the projection equipment had been sold. However, in June of 2019, they announced the drive-in was re-opening and was renamed the Grand River Drive-in. They also rebuilt and added to the concession area and added a dog park and a new playground for the kids. In addition to the drive-in, they have a bar, mini-golf and other activities. The Grand River Drive-in did in fact re-open on Saturday, July 11, 2020. Their 4 screens are open year round. They are located next to a large outlet mall. With the bar, they are one of the few drive-ins to serve alcohol although it has to be consumed at the bar and cannot be taken back to your car. They also allows pets as long as they are leashed.
