About Sand Mountain Twin Drive-in
The Sand Mountain Twin Drive-in is located in Boaz, Alamaba which is about 1 hour 10 minutes from each Birmingham, AL and Huntsville, AL. It is a "newer" drive-in which opened in 1996. The drive-in has two screens and shows double features on each screen on the weekends (Friday - Sunday). The drive-in is owned and operated by Franks Entertainment (which also owns some indoor cinemas). The Sand Mountain Drive-in charges $15 per carload so cram a bunch of friends into your car and head to Sand Mountain this weekend for a night under the stars.
