About West Springfield Drive-In
** UPDATE - In May of 2022, the West Sprigfield Drive-in posted on their website that they would not be opening in 2022. They did not indicate whether this was a permanent closure. However, since they did not indicate any plans to re-open, we are moving this drive-in into the "Permanently Closed" Status. We will update this page as we know more. **
The West Springfield Drive-In is a twin screen drive-in theater which is located in West Springfield, MA which is in south central Massachusetts. The drive-in opened on Friday, April 23, 2021 with its first showing being a double feature of Godzilla vs. King Kong and Mortal Kombat. The drive-in is actually located in the parking lot of the Eastern States Exposition fairgrounds and is accessed through Gate 9 of the fairgrounds. They have large, permanent drive-in screens, restrooms and concessions. The West Springfield Drive-in is operated by Fiesta Shows which also operates two other drive-ins. They plan to be show first run double features on Friday and Saturday nights in the Spring and then switch to showing movies seven nights a week in mid-June. Admission is currently $30 per car and tickets can be purchased online at the West Springfield Drive-in's website. Movie audio is broadcast over FM radio. Pets are allowed as long as they are leashed and well behaved. Outside food is not allowed but they have a wide array of food options.
