About Lighthouse 5 Drive-in Theatre
The Lighthouse 5 Drive-in Theatre is a PROPOSED 5 screen drive-in movie theater that will be located on County Road 44 in Eustis, Florida which is about 30 miles north of Orlando, Florida. The project was first proposed by local businessman Spencer Folmar back in 2019. He obtained approval from the Eustis City Council back in March of 2020 to move forward with the project. Mr. Folmar hopes that he can break ground in late 2020 or early 2021 with the entire project taking about three years to complete. The current plan is to complete the project in three phases. Phase one would be the completion of 5 screens to be centered around a large lighthouse which would serve as the projection area for the screens. Phase two would add an RV Park and Phase three would add restaurants and shopping areas. Currently the Lighthouse 5 Drive-in has a Facebook page and website which we are monitoring to follow their progress. We hope this drive-in becomes a reality and will continue to update our website with developments.
