About Ocala Drive-in
The Ocala Drive-in is a two screen drive-in movie theater located in Ocala, Florida. It was opened way back in 1948 and operated from then until it closed in 2002. But it was re-opened in 2003 only to be closed a few years later. But then it was bought by new owners, refurbished and re-opened in 2011 and remains going strong today. The Ocala Drive-in is a 2 screen drive-in showing first run double features on each screen nightly. At $6 for adults and $3 for kids admission for two movies, it is a great deal for entertainment. Please note that outside food and drink are not allowed so bring extra cash to visit the concession area. Pets are allowed as long as they are well behaved and leashed while outside of the vehicle. The Ocala Drive-in had traditional drive-in speakers up until just a few years ago, but now movie audio is broadcast through FM Radio. Also, no drugs or alcohol is allowed on premise.
