About The Runway Drive-in
The Runway Drive-in is a single screen drive-in movie theater located in Slemon Park, Prince Edward Island, Canada. It was opened in 2020 with a large inflatable screen to give families a place for entertainment while most other entertainment venues were closed due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The drive-in is located at Slemon Park which is a Canadian airforce base which gives the drive-in its name. In 2021, The Runway Drive-in constructed a permanent movie screen. They are open May through October and charge $20 a carload on weekends and $10 a carload on weekdays. Pets are allowed as long as they are leashed and cleaned up after.
