About Valley Drive-In Theater
The Valley Drive-in is a single screen drive-in theater located in Cambridge, Nova Scotia, Canada. It is a great success story. It was one of Canada's oldest operating drive-ins when it closed in the 1990's. But it was re-opened shortly afterward when the local Lion's Club raised the funds to purchase it and operate it. With support from the local community, it continues to operate today and has converted to digital projection. It is a great example of how local communities can band together to keep their drive-ins open. Outside food is allowed but discouraged since most of the Valley Drive-in's profits are generated from concession sales. Cash only is accepted at the box office but debit cards are accepted at the concession area.
