About 25 Drive-in Auto Theatre
The 25 Drive-in Auto Theater was originally opened in 1955 as a single screen drive-in theater. It is located in Greenwood, SC. It was closed the mid 1980's but then re-opened for a short time in 1999 only to be closed again. New owners bought it in 2007 and made many needed repairs that took years. Then in 2009, after sitting dark for 10 years, the 25 Drive-in Auto Theater opened again and has been showing movies ever since. In 2011 a second screen was added making the drive-in a twin. In 2014, both screens were upgraded to digital projection and then in 2015 a third screen was added making it a three screen drive-in. The 25 Drive-in Auto theater is open year round. Please note they only accept cash at the box office so you will need cash for your tickets. They allow outside food but only with the purchase of a $20 Food Permit.
