About Motor Vu Drive-in
The Motor Vu Drive-in was opened in 1953 and operated contentiously until it closed in 2017. It went up for sale but with no buyers, it was closed permanently and the screen and concession area were destroyed in February of 2018. Before demolition, the Motor Vu had the largest screen (90' wide) of any drive-in in Oregon. It was voted as one of the Top 10 Best Drive-ins by USA Today. It was seasonally operated April thru October and broadcasts the movie audio through FM radio. They charged by the carload.
