About Tiffin Drive-In Theater
The Tiffin Drive-in Theater is a twin screen drive-in located in Tiffin, Ohio. The Tiffin Drive-in Theater was opened in 1949 and has been open ever since. Originally a single screen theater, the Saunders family purchased the drive-in in 2011 and added a second screen and renamed the drive-in the Tiffin Field of Dreams Drive-in. In 2020, the Saunders family sold the drive-in to Michael Cole. Mr. Cole started a $200,000 upgrade to the Tiffin Drive-in beginning with replacing the original 1949 main screen. Mr. Cole also replaced the concession area and projector building and bought a state of the art projector. While renovations were underway, the Tiffin Drive-in was closed for the 2020 and 2021 seasons but re-opened in April of 2022. The Tiffin Drive-in can hold about 500 cars and is open seasonally from Spring thru Fall. The Drive-in currently charges $10 per person or $25 per carload. The Tiffin Drive-in allows outside food and drink but only with the purchase of a $10 food permit which also gets you a $10 off coupon for the concession stand on all purchases over $25. The Tiffin Drive-in is one of the few drive-ins to allow you to bring grills as long as a food permit is purchased. And the Tiffin Drive-in also allows pets as long as they are leashed and well behaved.
