About Parkside Drive-in
Sundance Drive-In, located in Oregon, Ohio is a 50's style drive-in movie theater featuring first-run movies on two screens with digital cinema projection & FM stereo sound. Showing movies April through October and special events year-round. The name has changed back and forth from Sundance to Parkside. The Parkside Drive-in Theatre is a twin screen drive-in movie theater located in Oregon, Ohio. It was opened in 1949 making it one of Ohio' oldest operating drive-ins. Originally opened as a single screen theater and called the Parkside Drive-in, a second screen was added in 1979 and at some point, the name of the drive-in was changed to the Sundance Kid Drive-in. But in March of 2022, the Sundance Kid Drive-in announced they were hiring for their final season. But later in the 2022 season and the property was put up for sale. But later in the season, it was announced the drive-in had been saved and the name was changed back to the original Parkside Drive-in. The Parkside Drive-in is open seasonally showing double features on each screen from March through October.
