About SkyView Drive-in
The SkyView Drive-in is a single screen drive-in movie theater located in Scottsbluff, Nebraska which is located in the far western area of the state. The SkyView Drive-in was opened in 2020 by the owners of the Midwest Theater which is an indoor theater. When the indoor theater was forced to close because of Covid-19 lockdowns, the owner opened a drive-in to show movies outside. Initially, the drive-in was located in the parking lot of a museum but this was a temporary location. They are now located on a lot next to the local airport and they have a long term lease to remain there. The SkyView Drive-in screen is made from stacked cargo containers with a screen on top of that. Currently, they generally show a single new release on weekends only. Current admission is $7 for adults, $4 for kids with kids 2 and under free. Movie audio is broadcast over FM Radio. Outside food and drink are not allowed.
