About Sunset Drive-in
The Sunset Drive-in is a single screen drive-in theater located in Aurora, MO. It has been going strong since opening in 1951. It has a car capacity of about 325 cars making it a good size drive-in for only having a single screen. A $8 for an adult admission, it is a great value for 2 movies. They are open seasonally. And they only accept cash so leave the credit cards at home. In addition, this is one of the few drive-ins that we are aware of that allows grilling on premises. Most drive-ins stopped allowing grilling years ago. And lastly, they have a color coded system (colored posts) to indicate which vehicles can park where.
