About Verne Drive-in
The Verne Drive-in is a single screen drive-in theater located in Luverne, MN which is located in the far southwest corner of the state. The Verne Drive-in was originally opened in 1954. It closed in 1988 and remained closed until 2000 when it was purchased by new owners. The new owners tore down the old buildings and erected a new concession building. The Verne Drive-in screens double features each night of the week during peak season. Be aware that the Verne does not allow any outside food and drink to be brought into the drive-in. Their website states you will be made to leave if you are caught bringing any in. So bring plenty of cash for the concession stand. They also allow you to bring pets as long as they are leashed and well behaved. Movie audio is transmitted on 91.5 FM.
