About Stanford Drive-in
The Stanford Drive-in is a single screen drive-in theater located in Stanford, Kentucky which is about an hour drive south of Lexington, Kentucky. The second smallest of Kentucky's drive-ins with a car capacity of 160 cars, the Standford has been there since 1952. In 1996 a tornado took the screen apart but they re-opened just three months later with a new 50' screen in place. We expect the Standford Drive-in to be around awhile as they had a successful fundraising in 2015 that raised enough money for the drive-in to go digital. They remain open seasonally from April thru October. But be aware that they do not allow outside food and drink so please bring some extra cash for the concession stand which is still serving up all kinds of good eats. The Stanford Drive-in also hosts a flea market on Saturdays and Sundays seasonally from Spring thru Fall.
