About Hummel Drive-in
Opened as a single screen drive-in in 1949 and originally named the Airline Drive-in, the now named Hummel Drive-in was later made into a twin screen showing double features on each screen. It was closed in 2014 and some thought that was the end of this drive-in. However, luckily for us, the drive-in was purchased by the Hummel Family shortly after it was closed. It was renovated and re-opened in the summer of 2016 and renamed the Hummel Drive-in! Another drive-in saved from the wrecking ball.
