About Hi Lite 30 Drive-in
Having opened shortly after the Second World War, the Hi-Lite 30 was the oldest operating drive-in in Illinois until its closure in 2006. For years it was also a MoPed, one of several venues across the country where a drive-in theater and a pedestrian theater shared the same property. The Hi-Lite 30 had a massive lot capable of holding over 700 cars.
