About Spud Drive-in
** UPDATE AS OF APRIL 2022 - A severe wind storm toppled the Spud Drive-in's screen in March of 2022. Due to supply chain issues for materials, the drive-in announced they will not be able to open in 2022 as it will take some time for repairs. They plan to re-open in 2023. We will update this page when more information is available. **
The Spud Drive-in is a single screen drive-in theater located in Driggs, Idaho. The smallest of Idaho's drive-ins (and one of the smallest operating drive-ins in the country), The Spud drive-in can only accommodate about 100 cars. The Spud is definitely one of the most colorful drive-ins anywhere and has a unique 1950's themed homespun cafe of a snack bar that is much better seen than described. Also, the drive-in is a "mascot" so to speak. It has a humongous Idaho SPUD nesting on a flatbed truck in front of its solo movie screen. The drive-in is open seasonally and has traditional window speakers in addition to FM radio broadcast. The Spud Drive-in is set in a beautiful natural setting with views of the Big Hole Mountain range visible from their lot. They also offer 5 cabins on their property which you can rent.
