About Santee Drive-in

The Santee Drive-in is a twin screen drive-in movie theater located in Santee, California. It was opened in 1958 as a solo screen with a second screen added later in the 1960's. The Santee Drive-in is open year round and shows movies nightly. Current admission is $12 for ADults and $6 for kids. They only accept cash so don't forget your dollars. They hold swap meets there on the weekends. There was an article released in May of 2023 that stated the Santee Drive-in had been sold to a developer who plans to build an industrial building on the property. So appears the Santee Drive-in's days may be numbered. We will update this page as we learn more about the future of the Santee Drive-in.
