About Big Island Drive-in Theater
The Big Island Drive-in was opened in 1957 and continues to operate today. It is the northern most drive-in theater in North. They say they not only show movies in the rain, but in the snow as well. The Big Island Drive-in is open seasonally Wednesday thru Sunday in the months between May and August. Then they shift to weekends only in September and October. They converted to digital back in 2015 so we are sure the Big Island Drive-in will be around for a long time to come.
