About Hilltop Drive-in

The Hilltop Drive-in is a single screen drive-in theater located in Chester, West Virginia. It opened in 1950 and operated until it went dark in 1984. It remained closed for 5 years and was then purchased by its former projectionist in 1989. He re-opened the theater and it has been showing movies ever since. The Hilltop Drive-in is open seasonally from April thru October and screens double features 7 nights a week during peak season and weekends only during Spring and Fall. Pets are allowed as long as they are leashed and well behaved. At this time, he Hilltop Drive-in only accepts cash at the admission gate, so ensure you have enough to get in. They do accept credit and debit cards at the concession stand. Current admission is $8.50 for adults, $3.50 for kids, $5 for Seniors and active military personel get in for free with military ID. Movie audio is broadcast over 87.9 FM.
