About The Comet Drive-in

Originally a single screen drive-in opened in 1950, The Comet Drive-in closed in 1986. But it returned 7 years later and was re-opened in 1993 and has been opened ever since. In 1994 The Comet constructed a second screen and operated as a Twin until about 2013. When switching to digital projection, the owners could only afford to purchase a digital projector for one screen. So the second screen has been torn down and it is operating as a single screen drive-in again. The Comet Drive-in is open seasonally from April thru August. They only accept cash so leave the credit cards at home. And they recently changed their policy and no longer allow dogs so leave Fido behind as well. They also run a Flea Market on the drive-in grounds on Sundays during from Spring thru October.
