About Sunset Drive-in
Before closing in 2013, the Sunset Drive-in was Utah's oldest drive-in opened in 1939. It was originally known as the Starlight Drive-in which had a wooden screen that was destroyed in 1955. The Starlight was then acquired by a new owner who installed a new screen and renamed the drive-in the Sunset Drive-in. Now the sun truly has set on this old drive since its closure in 2013 which resulted from the concession stand burning down because of a grease fire.
