About Motor Vu Drive-in
** Update as of May 19, 2022. It appears the Motor-Vu Drive-in was sold to a developer who plans to build single family homes on the site. And while there has been no formal notice that the The Motor-Vu Drive-in is closing permanently, they announced that movies are now closed. A local newspaper also reported houses were to be built on the lot. We will update this page if anything changes but for now, we are moving the Motor-Vu Drive-in to Closed. **
The Motor-Vu Drive is a four screen drive-in theater located in Riverdale, Utah. It is Utah's oldest remaining drive-in since the closure of the Sunset Drive-in in 2013 as the Motor Vu Drive-in has been operating since 1947. The Motor-Vu is also tied with the Redwood Drive-in as Utah's largest drive-in. It has 4 screens and can park about 1200 cars. Each of their screens is lit up with double features seasonally April thru October. They have gone digital and use FM radio for movie audio. They also hold a large swap meet on the weekends. Currently, admission is $10 for adults and $5 for kids and credit cards are accepted. Please be aware though that they do not allow pets at the drive-in.
