About LoCo Drive-in
The LoCo Drive-in is a single screen drive-in theater located in Loudon, Tennessee which is about 30 miles outside of Knoxville, Tennessee and also close to the Great Smoky National Park . The LoCo Drive-in opened Fourth of July weekend in 2021. Instead of standard digital projection onto a large, drive-in screen, the LoCo Drive-in is uses a large LED screen instead of the traditional screen with a projector. The LED screen is viewable during the day as well as night opening up the possibility that movies can be shown during the day as well as at night. Currently, the LoCo Drive-in plans to be open year round Thursday through Sundays showing both first run and classic movies. Admission is $10 for adults and $5 for kids. Outside food is not allowed unless you purchase a separate food permit. Pets are not allowed at the LoCo Drive-in. The LoCo Drive-in is located right off of I-75 on exit 72 on Highway 72 in Loudon. The LoCo Drive-in will has a concession that sells only a few items such as sodas, popcorn and candy. However, they generally have a variety of different food trucks which offer a large food variety. Movie audio is broadcast over FM channel as well as through an app developed by the drive-in.
