About Center Road Drive-in
** Update as of October 2018 ** Despite their best efforts, the Center Road Drive-in never started construction in 2018 and they have provided no updates since April of 2018. It looks like this one will not be built after all so we are changing the status to 'closed'. If things change and they do begin construction, we will update our listing. **
The Center Road Drive-in is a proposed twin screen drive-in currently under construction in Hartsville, South Carolina. We have listed them as OPEN as they are targeting a grand opening on March 1, 2018. Once we get more information on when the Center Road Drive-in actually opens, this description will be updated. The drive-in is being built from the ground up by the Anderson Family on land that has been in their family for 75 years. Once open, the Center Road Drive-in will have 2 screens (actually one screen with movies shown on each of its two sides) and a 500 car capacity. They plan to show first run double features nightly and be open seasonally Spring thru Fall.
