About Starlite Drive-in
The TK-Starlite Drive-in is a single screen drive-in movie theater located in Neligh, Nebraska which is a rural area located in the northeast of the state. The oldest of Nebraska's remaining drive-ins, the TK-Starlite drive-in was opened back in 1952. They operate seasonally from April thru September. There are still some traditional drive-in pole speakers, but the audio for the movies is now broadcast through 89.9 FM radio. Current admission is $9 for Adults and $6 for kids with kids 4 and under free. In July of 2021, the TK-Starlite Drive-in announced they were closing permanently. But then a week or so later, they announced that the announcement was a misunderstanding and that they were just closing early for the summer. On June 1 of 2022, the TK-Starlite announced on their Facebook page that they would not open in 2022 but that they would re-open in 2023. So we are moving them to "Closed" status for now. We will follow their progress and re-classify the TK-Starlite Drive-in to Open if they do in fact re-open in 2023.
