About Five Mile Drive-in
The 5 Mile Drive-in is a single screen drive-in theater located in Dowagiac, Michigan which is located in the southwest part of the state. The Five Mile Drive-in was originally built in 1961 and is known as "The Fiver". It is one of the few drive-ins that still has a playground for the kids to use before the movie. It is open seasonally and generally shows double features. Be aware that the Five Mile Drive-in does not allow you to bring in outside food or drink so bring some extra money for the concession stand. Current admission is $30 per carload and movie audio is broadcast on 100.3 FM. The 5 Mile Drive-in is currently for sale along with the Sunset Drive-in which is owned by the same owners. The asking price is $449,000 for both drive-ins.
