About Franklin Drive-in
The Franklin Drive-in is a single screen drive-in theater located in Franklin, KY which is in the southern part of Kentucky not far from the Tennessee border. The Franklin Drive-in was established in the later years of America's drive-in boom in 1969. The Franklin Drive-in has gone digital so we hope it will be around for many years to come. Even though the drive-in is in Kentucky, it is practically a Tennessee drive-in as it is only a few miles from the Tennessee border and less than an hour's drive from Nashville, TN. It is well maintained and still keeps a couple of rows of the traditional pole speakers although it does provide sound via FM radio. They are open seasonally March thru October. They accept credit/debit cards at the concession stand but only accept cash at the box office for tickets. They broadcast the movie audio on 90.5 FM.
