About Calvert Drive-in
The Calvert Drive-in is a single screen drive-in theater located in Calvert City, KY which is very close to Kentucky Lake. The Calvert Drive-in opened during the early days of America's drive-in boom back in 1953. It is a single screen theater with a 400 car capacity. They broadcast the movie audio over 88.3 FM but they still have about 270 working pole speakers for those who love to listen to their movies the old fashioned way. The Calvert Drive-in is seasonally April thru September. They are close to Kentucky Lake so offer summer lake goers a nice outside movie experience at night. They also have a great concession restaurant offering delicious hamburgers and pizzas as well as other standard drive-in food. The Calvert Drive-in accepts credit cards and they allow pets as long as they are leashed, well controlled and cleaned up after. Current admission is $10 for age 12+, $2 for ages 6-11 and kids under 5 get in free. In the summer of 2021, the 110 year old owner of the Calvert City Drive-in passed away. The drive-in closed early that season and has now re-opened under new ownership.
