About Mission Tiki Drive-in
**Update - At the end of October of 2019, the owner of the Mission Tiki Drive-in sold the land on which the drive-in sits. He then announced the drive-in would close permanently at the end of 2019. However, since that time, the owner said development was not going as fast as originally planned and that the Mission Tiki would in fact stay open through the summer of 2020 and be permanently closed after that. So we currently expect the Mission Tiki to close for good in the Fall of 2020. Originally opened as the Mission Drive-in in 1956, the Mission Tiki Drive-in expanded to 4 screens in 1975. In 2006, the theater was refurbished with FM transmission for sound and a switched to digital projection. The Mission Tiki is open year round, 365 days a year. They also host a swap meet Wednesday thru Sunday.We have no photos of Mission Tiki Drive-in.
