Originally opened in 1948 as the El Rio Drive-in, the Madera Drive-in is a two screen drive-in which is located in Madera, CA which is about 30 minutes north of Fresno, CA. It is the oldest remaining drive-in theater in the state of California. The Madera Drive-in is open seasonally from May thru September. They only accept cash, so leave the credit cards at home. The drive-in is very reasonably priced at $11.50 for adults and $8.50 for children for a double feature.
