About Kookaburra Outdoor Cinema

The Kookaburra Outdoor Cinema, while technically not a drive-in theater, is an outdoor theater that seats approximately 350 people in sling chairs. The Kookaburra Outdoor Cinema is located in Mundaring, Western Australia which is about a 45 minute drive east of Perth, Australia. It is located across from the scenic state forest which provides a dramatic backdrop for movie viewing. They are open seasonally from November thru April. They only accept cash. The Kookaburro Outdoor Cinema allows you to bring your own chairs and your own food and drinks although they do have a small concession stand that sells drinks, ice cream and snacks.
