About Hull's Drive-in
Hull's Drive-in was opened in 1950 and was operated by its original owner until his death in 1998. After Mr. Hull's death in 1998, the drive-in was sold. The new buyer only kept the theater open for one season and then closed it rather than pay for much needed repairs and updates. When no buyer was found, he closed the drive-in in 1999. However, a non-profit formed (named Hull's Angels) and raised the money needed to update and re-open the drive-in which it did in 2000. It has been operating as a non-profit drive-in ever since. Hull's Drive-in is the first drive-in to be operated as a non-profit (and is only 1 of 2 non-profit drive-ins of which we are aware). We believe Hull's Drive-in is an innovative financial model for local communities to keep their drive-ins alive and running. Hull's Drive-in is open seasonally from March thru October.
