About Tascosa Drive-in
The Tascosa Drive-in is a single screen drive-in movie theater located in Amarillo, Texas. First lit in 1952, the Tascosa Drive-in originally had twin screens on the north and south sides of the property. The north screen was destroyed by fire back in 1978 and so the drive-in operated as a single screen until it closed in 1994. However, The Tascosa was eventually restored and reopened in 1999 and continues to operate today. They are open seasonally on Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights only. They only accept cash so leave the credit cards at home. They are very affordable and have great food like turkey legs, nachos and more. Current admission prices are $9 for adults and $5 for kids.
