The 6 opened-up way after the peak of Canada's Drive-in boom
(in 1972), and is the largest Drive-in out on the Canadian prarie.
Not as old as some, but as tough as any ..  it is perhaps Canada's
most determined  Drive-in, in having survived and being revived after
enduring multiple hardships and ravishings over the past 28 years--
being on the receiving end of 3 out of 4 of the elements .. wind, water,
and even fire. Meanwhile the current owners (since '95) seem very
comiitted to preserving the presence of the past. They're holding
a deuce here .. twin-screens; which are lit-up seasonally,
May thru September, on weekends only Fri-Sat-Sun,
screening double features each nite, and 3rd feature
on Friday nites.  Audio for the movies' soundtrack is
provided by local radio broadcast;  for Screen-1 it's
102.1 FM and for Screen-2 it's 95.3 FM. Admission:
$7 (ages 13-64); $3.50 seniors; $3.50 (ages 6-12);
ages 5 & under: free; Sunday nites: $13 per carload.
