About Highway 21 Drive-in
The Highway 21 Drive-in is a twin screen drive-in theater located in Beaufort, South Carolina which is in the southeast part of the state just an hour north of Savannah, Georgia. The Highway 21 Drive-in has been operating since 1978. They have two screens and a 500 car capacity and operate year round. They normally show double features on each of their 2 screens plus triples on occasion. During the winter and Fall, the Highway 21 Drive-in is generally only open on the weekends. They expand to 7 nights a week during peak Spring and Summer months. They have a great concession stand and a nice feature where you can drop your order off at the window, and they will call your cell phone when the order is ready. So no waiting in line which is very convenient on nights the drive-in is extremely busy. The Highway 21 Drive-in was purchased by Joe and Connie Barth in 2003 and they operated it for almost 20 years until selling it in May of 2022 to Jake Higgins. Mr. Higgins is committed to keeping it a drive-in movie theater and hopes to add a third screen, a flea market and make other upgrades to the facilities. Current admission is $7 for adults and $3 for kids with kids 4 and under free.
