Framed by one of the most scenic natural settings for
any outdoor picture show, the Commanche has been
lit-up every season since it was constructed back in '66.
They're screening single features 5 nites of each week
(closed Wednesday and Thursday) during their season,
which runs from Memorial Day Wknd thru Labor Day.
There are still a number of traditional speakers for the
nostalgically inclined, although the audio is primarily
FM radio. Admission: $5 age 12 & up; $3 for ages 6-11.

Classic Vu: rural solo screen with a capacity for up to
300 cars, lit-up seasonally and consecutively since 1954.
Open mid-April through the last weekend of September;
screening double features 7 nites each week during peak
season (Memorial Day Weekend thru Labor Day) and on
weekends only in spring and fall. Audio for the movies'
soundtrack is provided with traditional Drive-in speakers
as well as local AM (540) and FM (98.7) radio broadcasts.
Admission: $4.50 per person (12&up) 11 and under free.

operation since 1950, then celebrated Y2K and it's 50th
season with the addition of 2 more screens (and those
themselves had seen service at other Drive-ins). Basic
math: there are now 3 screens here, each of them lit-up
with a double feature each nite; and a capacity overall
for 1,000 cars, making this Colorado's largest Drive-in.
They're open seasonally, May thru October; audio: FM.
